Is 1 RTF(R) = 1L? Yes. Guaranteed with 100% flow testing.
Why no Relief Valves? Relief Valves are typically application specific, not standardization friendly. We are able to design ultra stable, actively damped relief valves. We partner with companies that effectively specialize in this area as well. Beware of companies that over simplify relief valve requirements with direct acting undamped relief valves that will subject your system to damage. Some systems can tolerate a dumb relief valve design that is not actively damped, some can not. Work with a supplier that knows the difference.
Expansion Plugs? We are able to design expansion plugs. We are working with companies to offer an alternative source to the existing supplier. Further evolution is warranted with this product class, as GT engine manufacturers require that current plug design be welded over after installation, due to past history of plug escapes.

Why did Micro-Flow begin with micro static mixers in Life Science Group?
Simply put, HPLC/UHPLC was not on our radar until we were contacted by a pharmaceutical company involved in drug research. They had a supplier design a custom static mixer for their requirements -used to mix extremely small volumes of mobile phase solvents. The device delivered turned out to be a laminar flow device - a real poor mixer. Noting that static mixing requires turbulence, we improved the initial suppliers design adding effectively a trip wire to each flow path within a flow cell of a five micro-liter volume. Also noting the varying material compatibility demands in this field, we developed titanium and PEEK static mixer designs that are used for bio-compatibility. The iron content in stainless steel disrupts protein analysis. From here, we have begun to delve deeper into solving problems in Life Sciences
